David Sedaris Long Beach Concert reviews
Amazing -- 69 Never Felt So Good!
Yankee Stadium was filled with 50,000 fans, singing along with David and his band, giving me chills. The absolute best concert I have ever been to was when David Sedaris performed non-stop for almost 3 hours. It was unbelievable to be able to see and hear him perform. He still has an incredible voice and played multiple instruments, as well as sharing stories of what had inspired him to write several of the songs he performed.
He bounces around the stage like he is still in his 30's, and I don't know where he gets all his energy from. To be surrounded by fans in Yankee Stadium gave me chills. The sound system was great, and there were even fireworks and video clips throughout the performance, which just enhanced the experience. Quite honestly, all you need is David and his guitar -- anything else is a bonus!
